On July 21, in the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a thematic meeting in the format of “Investchas”, where they discussed measures to improve work with business, and also reviewed the progress of projects previously approved by the Investment Committee of the region.
Among the projects considered is the construction of a sewing factory for the production of working clothes “Arcade” on the territory of the SEZ “Alga”. The general director of the association Evgeny Romanov said that at the moment the first stage of the project has been implemented. The garment industry employs 305 people. Since the beginning of 2022, 245 seamstresses have been trained with the assistance of the republic.
– Already in September we plan to complete the construction of the second stage of the project, – explained Evgeny Romanov. – For full-fledged work in two shifts, the company needs about 800 people.
The head of the region stressed that it is very important to increase the salaries of employees for staffing the garment industry.
– We are ready to help in training seamstresses, solving other organizational and technical issues. Your task is to motivate people to come to work for the company. First of all, it is a decent wage,” Radiy Khabirov stressed.
The personnel issue is relevant for another resident of the SEZ “Alga” – the factory ZASPORT. In January 2020, it was possible to reach an agreement on the construction of a clothing factory of the brand on the territory of the republic.
The company’s executive director Evgeny Chevychelov said that about 100 high-class seamstresses should be prepared for the launch of production at the end of 2022. In total, about 300 people will work at the enterprise.
The head of Bashkortostan said that he would instruct the administrations of nearby districts to assist in finding people, and the republic would help train them.
Begum Gultekin, Director of the Department of Budget and Investment Activities of the Turkish holding Fatinoğlu, in a videoconference mode reported on the investment plans of the subsidiary Sanica Pipe in Bashkortostan. Recall that in April 2022, the Investment Committee of the republic approved the holding’s projects to create the production of plastic pipes and heating equipment. The total volume of investments in them is about 2.4 billion rubles. Begum Gultekin confirmed the intentions of the holding, adding that in modern conditions investors are considering the possibility of increasing production capacity in Bashkortostan.
